  11. I have heard that, when analog Centrex lines go digital, modem dialing becomes 
  12. impossible unless the call is placed via a handset.  This would seem to make 
  13. the selection of low-speed analog lines and appropriate muxes for low-speed 
  14. data transmission a pretty short-lived solution.
